Based in Banbridge, County Down, Ian Bowles of Aura Studio, is educated to HND and Degree level in photography, with many years of experience as both a professional photographer and as a lecturer in photography and digital imaging.
Working throughout the UK and Ireland, he gained International recognition in 2007 with a ‘First’ at the prestigious ‘Prix de la Photographie’ in Paris.
Weddings
Ian Bowles of Aura Studio is a fully qualified professional photographer working in idyllic rural County Down. His style is a balanced mix of casual and informal photography combined with more formal images to provide an album to last for generations to come.
Only the finest materials available are used - professional archival papers from Kodak and Fuji and all albums are by Queensberry of New Zealand.
Seven wedding packages are available, including full coverage. Full coverage provides you with comprehensive coverage of your day until at least the first dance. Guests can even have formal portraits done in the evening, should you wish. However, it is your day and you will always have the final say in what you want.

Portraits
Ian Bowles of Aura Studio specializes in black and white portraits and concentrates on the character of the individual rather than using props or fluffy rugs.
A portrait session usually takes between one and two hours and it is recommended that you discuss your ideas with Ian in advance so he can advise on style, clothing etc.
