Fred Elliott's has been our families butcher of choice since we moved to banbridge 24 years ago and we really are spoilt for quality.
We lived in London for 4 years and to get meat of the same standard of Fred's meant having to pay a hefty price tag at the likes of borough market.
I would reccomend that everybody try Elliotts as it is fantastic no nonsense family butcher that the queues out the door every saturday.
So next time you go to the supermarket and reach for your vacuum packed steak, put it back and take yourself up to Fred's and ask for an inch thick fillet steak. Take it home, eat it and I promise you you will never buy your meat anywhere else again.

We by chance happened upon this butchers a week ago, while just making a pit stop in Banbridge,
My wife and I bought a wide variety of meat, all of which, I have to say, is the best tasting meat that we have had in a very long time!
It will be well worth a trip for us every month or so, to travel the 30 odd miles from home to buy such good quality meat.
