The new-generation ghd IV styler curls as easily as it straightens. When it comes to heat-styling, it's the ultimate in versatility. Innovative digital control improves styling success, advanced ceramic heaters give the ultimate in static-free sheen and ‘sleep mode’ – the new built-in safety feature - turns the styler off if it's left unattended for 30 minutes. And its styling technology you can take absolutely anywhere; new universal voltage means you can style your way round the world and still get the same fantastic ghd performance.
After spending much time in research, a gap was discovered in the market for an instant fake tan, with little smell that would also provide an easy application for the end user. As a result, He-Shi liquid tan was born in 2004, being a tan with a unisex theme (for him and for her).
In just 3 years, He-Shi has become one of the most popular tans throughout the UK & Ireland and the range has grown to provide safe and non-invasive treatments which can be used at home.
Based on the He-Shi Liquid Tan, a full range has been developed including a facial gel containing extra moisturiser but no alcohol, thus helping to eliminate any stinging effects to the eyes.
To aid in the application of the tan, a patented He-Shi Applicator Mitt has also emerged and to provide Glitz the He-Shi Golden Glitter Spray adds interest to any tan with a luscious sheen of golden glimmer.

I started my career my career off in a very busy salon here in Banbridge where I got trained to a very high standard. I trained at Hair Academy in Belfast where I completed my NVQs level 2 and 3 in hairdressing. I also completed my assessors award in which I am now qualified to teach hairdressing.
Portfolio consists of:
8 years working in city salons in Manchester and Belfast.
Winner of various competitions within these salons.
Various courses including advanced cutting courses with both L’Oreal and Toni & Guy.
Advanced colouring L’Oreal.
Avant Garde cutting among many more.
I also have done a lot of show work, preparing models for catwalk etc.
I have to say I love my job! Hairdressing changes all the time and I make sure that myself and the girls do at least two courses a year to keep up with all the latest fashion trends.

I have always wanted to be a hairdresser from a young age. I have always had a vital interest in the fashion industry and I’m delighted to have my career in the same industry.
I started working with Clare two summers ago so I know the ropes already. I’m starting full time with Clare in June. I will be starting my NVQ level 2 with Hair Academy in Newry.
I’m so excited!!

I have been doing hairdressing for over two years now. I studied hair dressing in Southern Regional College, Newry. I work in Salon Rouge, I have been working with Clare for one year now, in that year she has trained me to a high standard of hair dressing which has lead on to me becoming a junior stylist.
I have just completed a colouring course with Alfaparf, I found this course very interesting and learnt a lot more about colours. Later this month I am doing a cutting course with Toni & Guy in Belfast to perfect my skills in cutting. I really enjoy work and team working with my colleagues.
The salon has a very high standard, hygiene and cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us, especially with regards our equipment and surroundings, which is why on a Wednesday morning you will often find us on our knees cleaning the very skirting boards!!
The atmosphere and craic in the salon is great and we all get on so well.
I have attended Newry College for two years now; the training in the college is of a very high standard. I hope to stay on and complete my level 3 in hairdressing next year.
I have just taken part in a hair show for charity in the college and came 5th overall. I hope to do more hair shows like this somewhere along the way as I really enjoy the preparation and the craic!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Clare for getting me where I am in hairdressing now, and I am sure she will take me much further.

I started of doing my City and Guilds training which is the equivalent to NVQ these days. I love my job, it’s great craic and changes so much every year, and so it keeps you on your toes!
I have done various courses throughout my 17 years as you can well imagine including cutting, colouring, product knowledge etc.
I also go to various shows every year to keep up with the new techniques that emerge. I now have three boys and had a few career breaks but I also love to get back to what I enjoy and not be a mum all the time! It keeps me sane!

I started hairdressing when I was 15 years old. I started my training in Belfast Hair and Beauty Academy where I completed my NVQ levels 2 and 3, whilst training I worked in a very busy salon in Banbridge, there I learnt the basics of cutting and colouring.
I then furthered my career and started with Clare in Salon Rouge, two years ago where I learnt more advanced cutting and colouring which brings me where I am today. I have also done a cutting and colouring course with Vidal Sassoon and Alfaparf.
I have also been trained as a nail technician by Olivia Rodgers Academy and as a make up artist by Toni & Guy.
Later on this year I will be doing the colour fusion course by Alfaparf in Dublin.
