I feel i have to write to tell you about the wonderful service i recieved at the Banbridge Tesco's store on Saturday 31--8-10. I completed my shopping at appox 9-00pm and when i got to the check out i had no purse. The lovely lady in the red polo shirt assured me that i wasnt the only one to do this and advised me that she would put my trolley in a fridge while i went home to get my purse. On my return, it was lashing down with rain. i had my 20mth old grand daughter fast asleep in the car. I didnt want to disturb her, while i didnt want to leave her either. i parked right at the front door and run in and explined this to the security man, i thought he would say more your car ect ect. He was wonderful, he said i will watch the car for you not a problem. i thought he would sit on his high chair and look out at the car in the rain but no. He went to the door and watched the car and my grand daughter. i was watching him as i went to see about my trolley, he NEVER took his eyes of my car. I spoke to a young man by the name of Chris (i think) again explained to him about the child in the car, he said if you pay for your goods i will get them and bring them to the car. This he did and did very quickly. He brought my trolley to the car and packed my goods into the car in the lashing rain. This is what i call excellent service. A big thank you to the 2 members of staff involved. i normally shop in Portadown tesco's but i must say the service i got on saturday night was superb and i will be back

Usual selection of food and check-out queues not usually too long. I do not agree with the positioning of their Chip & Pin machines at each check-out as passersby could see you punching in your pin number, have written to their HQ about this but received a reply that was everything but satisfactory. Would like to see Tesco having more competition in the town from someone like Asda etc. I have no objection in them moving to Bridgewater Park
